Well here it is, the Endurance Project of the year. With all its ups and downs, politics, and tirades, the 'BOB' complilation is finally done. Hope you enjoy.
The project began in the blustery winter of '95 from a seed spun by Jade Nielson. The idea was simple, 1-Bands play for free 2-Money from shows go to recordings 3-Recordings sell 4-Money from sales go strictly to P.A. for Ralph's and various venues.
Originally the P.A. was meant for use at Ralph's and the now defunct D.I.Y. Center. Hopefully in its abrupt passing the D.I.Y. Center may inspire a gaggle of all ages shows, at a variety of venues.
Overall, our hopes are that the quality and availability of shows will grow and the bands will finally receive fair compensation for tireless patience, and unending talent.
Thanks to everyone who took part without personal baggage and contempt. And a special thanks to those bands who unfortunately were not playing or available for the tape. Your contribution to the local music culture is both beloved and appreciated.
